Our Scripture reading today is Luke 17:7-8.
Verse 8, "And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?"
There is always something we can do to serve our Master.  God and God alone is worthy of our dedicated service.  As I read these verses several times this morning, I was reminded of the importance of putting God first in my life.  God will have first place in my life if I am striving to love Him most.  Matthew 22:37, "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
It seems that many Christians have left their first love for the love of this world.  Many people who profess to be Christians are not living as they profess.  It shows in where we place our love.  It shows in how much time we give to the Lord.  It shows in where we place our treasure.  Love is not only to be verbalized.  Love is to be seen in how we live our lives.  Can your Christianity be seen in how you are living your life?  Do you have any time to serve your Saviour?
