Today’s Scripture reading is Mark 7:35-37.

Verse 36 - "...so much the more a great deal they published it;"

The world published is translated from the Greek word, keryssoKerysso means to herald (as a public crier), especially divine truth (the gospel):—preacher(-er), proclaim, publish.

We read in 2 Timothy 4:2, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season,"  By the way, preach is also translated from kerysso.  If you have accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour, you are to be a preacher.  A preacher does not mean you have to be a pastor.  Every child of God is to be publishing the Gospel message.  Every child of God is to be preaching the Gospel message.  "How shall they hear without a preacher (kerysso)?"  Romans 10:14

Ways to be a preacher of the Gospel during social distancing:
1. Pray for Divine appointments.  They still happen during social distancing!
2. Each time we have an online service share the Facebook feed or anchoredinJesus.com with your family and friends.
3. Send understandJohn316.com to your family and friends.  There are numerous Gospel presentations on this website.
4. Send Pastor Chappell's online tract to your family and friends.  https://www.lancasterbaptist.org/creative-outreach-in-a-different-time
5. https://gettheanswerright.com/ is an excellent Gospel tool for children.
The enemy will give us every excuse for why we cannot be a preacher.  He was doing before social distancing was in place and is he continuing to do it today.  We must rise above and start publishing the Good News...Jesus Christ is the Saviour!
