Our Scripture reading today is Ezekiel 3:16-19.
Verse 17, " Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me."
The prophet Ezekiel receives a direct revelation from God.  The orders from headquarters were to pass along what he was being told.  I remember several years ago being challenged and encouraged to be a soul warner.  The message was exhorting the crowd to tell people about the end result of sin.  James 1:15 tells us that sin eventually brings death.  Spiritual death is separation from God in the lake of fire.  Revelation 20:14, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."
We read in Romans 3 of the wide-spread sin problem.  Verse 10 tells us there is "none righteous" and in verse 23 we read "ALL have sinned."  The conclusion from these and other verses of Scripture is every one needs to be warned.  It is our responsibility to warn others of what we have already been warned about and delivered from.  Jesus Christ is and always will be the answer.  While warning others of the eternal destiny, we share the love of God for them by explaining the cross and the empty tomb.
In recent days, we have been encouraging the Anchor family to get involved in delivering Gospel door hangers.  If you have yet to get involved, why are you waiting?  There is no time better than the present to be a soul warner.
