Our Scripture reading today is Luke 12:57-59.
Verse 57, "Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?"
The closing verses of chapter twelve challenge the reader to make sure everything is right before the day he or she will stand before the Judge.  If someone were to wait to get things right when they are standing before the Judge, it would be too late.  What is interesting in this is the Judge has already provided the Way to make everything right.  Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus..."  The Judge gave His Son as sacrifice for our sins as well as the sins of the whole world.  Have you made things right with the Judge?  Have your sins been covered and cleansed by the blood of the Lamb?
Our message is not really our message.  We are delivering the message from the Judge.  It is a message of hope and peace.  It is a narrow but simple message.  Matthew 7:14, "Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."  Those who we know are not ready to stand before their Judge need fervent prayer and love.  Look for an opportunity today to give God's message to someone in need.
