Our Scripture reading today is John 6:4-7.
Verse 6, "...for he himself knew what he would do."
The plan of the Lord Jesus is the plan we need to seek every day. We all have schedules that we live by. These schedules need God's touch on them. James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
In John 6, the disciples followed the instructions they were given and witnessed an amazing miracle. The Lord Jesus knew He was going to perform a miracle. His question in verse 5 brought the disciples in on His plan of feeding thousands of people with one small lunch. God knows what we need and what is ahead of everyday. Stay close to Him and watch Him work miracles in your life. His will is always where we need to be.
