Our Scripture reading today is Luke 5:7-8, "And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.  When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord."
When Jesus goes fishing, He really goes fishing!  What a sight this miracle must have been.  Two ships filled with fish to the point of almost sinking.  Remember, this followed an entire night of catching nothing.  Simon Peter's response was one of humilty and amazement.  He was overwhelmed at not just the miraculous provision, but that Jesus had done this miracle in his presence.  It seems like this is Peter's moment of surrender to follow Jesus Christ.
Have you had a moment of surrender?  The sooner each of us comes to our moment of surrender, the better.  The first moment is when we realize we cannot save ourselves and we surrender to God's plan of salvation.  Our surrender moments continue as we follow the Lord in believer's baptism.  This is only the beginning of a life of daily surrender.  The surrendered life brings with it much joy and peace.  God can do so much more with our lives if we surrender control over to Him.
