Today's Scripture reading is
Revelation 22:16-17.
Verse 17, "And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
God allows every man the ability to freely reject or receive His love and forgiveness. It is His will that all men would receive Him. (2 Peter 3:9) The sacrifice of the Lord Jesus is still sufficient today to provide eternal life for everyone. The word "whosoever" indicates God's gift of salvation is for all who take His life giving water. I think the timing of this verse is amazing. There are only three verses remaining in the Bible following this verse. One more time, God almighty conveys to the reader of His Word the availability of eternal life is for all.
