Our Scripture reading today is Luke 24:19-20.
Verse 19, "And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:"
The conversation between Jesus and these men continue as they describe to Jesus what they knew about Him. They actually knew quite a bit about the Lord Jesus. How did they know all of this information? Had they witnessed a miracle or heard Him teach? Could it be that most of what they knew about Jesus of Nazareth was told to them by someone else? It is definitely quite possible. Who are you telling about Jesus?
How will those around us hear about Jesus Christ? How will those who we come into contact with on a daily basis know about God's love for them? As followers of Jesus Christ, we all have a testimony about the mighty deeds of Jesus Christ in our personal lives. We all should have something to say about how the Word of God has changed us from what we were to what we are now. This is our way of telling others about Jesus Christ and bringing glory to God! Who are you telling about Jesus?
