Our Scripture reading today is 1 John 2:2, "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only,
but also for the sins of the whole world."

We have an all sufficient Saviour! Jesus Christ's sacrifice makes it possible for us to be
cleansed of all past, present, and future sin. His precious blood covers the sins of those
who turn to him for their souls salvation. The propitiation must be believed and received
for it to have an impact in one's life.

Propitiation...“The word implies that Christ has, as our sin-offering, reconciled God and us by nothing
else but by His voluntary death as a sacrifice: has by this averted God’s wrath from us.” (Alford)

We must continue to deliver this message and pray that many more lost souls will turn to Jesus Christ alone
for their salvation.
