Our Scripture reading is John 4:35, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest."
Yes, there are still people today who are searching for truth. They are searching for hope. As followers of Jesus Christ, we have the responsibility and privilege to plant the Gospel seed as well as water it. God has promised in His time to bring in the harvest. It is imperative that we each do our part and God will always do His. A delay in doing Gospel work could be tragic. “The harvest is ready. The wages are there. Let no man hang back. A harvest will not wait.” (Morris)
