Today’s Scripture reading is Acts 19:17-20.
Verse 20, "So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed."
The power of God's Word is evident in this passage of Scripture. The people heard the Word of God and believed. Their belief led them to get rid of the things in their life that were not becoming of a follower of the Lord Jesus.
We cannot overemphasize the importance of distributing the Word of God into our communities. Whether it be a Gospel tract, John and Romans, or all 66 books., God's Word is still changing lives and bringing about the faith needed to be born again. Over the last several months, God has enabled us to mail out over 66,000 Gospel tracts. He has used His Word to save souls and encourage and challenge Christians who have been out of church. There are over 30,000 more tracts at the church office waiting to be mailed. Please pray for the postage need to be met. As in the book of Acts, God's Word will prevail!
