Today’s Scripture reading is Psalm 51:6-9.
Verse 6, "Thou desirest truth in the inward parts:"
Who we are will be revealed by our actions which are a direct result of our "inward parts". What type of treasure are you storing in your heart? Read Luke 6:45. The daily goal for every believer ought to be storing away a treasure of truth. Truth brings freedom. John 8:32, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." The treasure of truth we need to store away is found in God's Word. Truth is not relative nor does truth change. Jesus Christ referred to Himself as "the truth" in John 14:6 and in Hebrew 13:8 we read, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." TRUTH never changes!
