Our Scripture reading today is Luke 2:43-45.

Verse 45, "And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him."

Joseph and Mary left Jerusalem for home not knowing for sure who Jesus was travelling with.  Surely He was with someone they knew?  The text tells us they travelled a full day before checking and then they could not locate Jesus.  This was a little more than losing Him at the grocery store.

After reading verse forty-five, four words kept ringing in my spiritual ears: turn back...seek Him.  Are there areas of our life where we need to turn back and seek Him?  These four words are more than capable of bringing revival to the coldest of hearts.  These four words would solve relationship problems as well as bring peace to the most worrisome.  How far are you willing to travel before you turn back and seek Him?
