Our Scripture reading today is Mark 15:42-43, 46.

Verse 43, "Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor,  which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus."

This prominent man, Joseph, was able to do something that others could not do.  He provided a tomb for the Son of God to be buried in.  It was not possible for the disciples or the women who were followers of Christ to give such a gift.  There were ways Joseph did not serve the Lord and there were ways Peter, James, and John served the Lord.  Each one did what they could.  This is the missing ingredient in homes and churches.  If each member did what THEY could, the home and church would be fulfilling their roles in a greater way.

Do what you can today for the glory of God!!
