Today's Scripture reading is Galatians 5:22-25.
Verse 25, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
The fruit that the Holy Spirit desires to produce in our lives will enable us to bring glory to God and a powerful witness to lost souls. These fruit are not natural and we must strive to die to our fleshly desires every day. This death will allow us to walk in the Spirit. By yielding the controls of our lives to the Holy Spirit, we are guaranteed to be heading the right direction. The path will not be without challenges and trials, but His presence goes with us all the way. Self-control leads to defeat while Spirit-control leads to Victory!
