Our Scripture reading today is John 4:35-38.
Verse 36, "And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together."
The first word that came to mind when reading this verse was teamwork.  The sowers and the reapers are on the same team.  They are both burdened to reach lost souls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Another interesting point is that we never really know which one we are day by day.  Are we sowing this time or reaping?  This isn't to be our concern.  We are to seek the Lord's help in being conscious of lost souls around us.  It is imperative that we are led by the Holy Spirit each and every day.
The more conscious we are of an eternal dwelling place called Hell, the more we will pray for lost souls to be saved.  We will give out more Gospel tracts and invite more people to church.  There is eternal life available to those who are lost.  There is still hope for them to be saved!
"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."  Romans 10:14, 17
We need more sowers and reapers for the glory of God!
