Our Scripture reading today is Acts 20:29-31.
Verse 31, "Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears."
The Apostle Paul was clearly concerned about the Ephesian Christians.  He loved them dearly and this would be the last time they would see one another.  He would not have another opportunity to challenge and encourage them.
There are two words in this verse that I would like to emphasize: watch and warn.  Over and over again, Paul warned the people to be awake and alert.  They had enemies that wanted to infultrate the church and cause division and strife.  This has always been the case for Bible preaching churches.  Satan's goal will always be division which leads to destruction.  There is a way to prepare for this attack.  Every member of the church must take time every day to equip themselves.
The daily quipping of the saints takes place when we read God's Word (Psalm 119:11; 119:105), talk to God in prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philippians 4:6), and put on our spiritual clothes (Ephesians 6:11-18).  Please take a few moments and read each of those verses and consider if your preparations are thorough enough.
