Our Scripture reading today is John 3:18-20.
Verse 20, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."
I'm thankful for the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Light reveals things that are hidden or lost. Our enemy is attempting to keep as many people as possible in spiritual darkness. John 12:40, “He hath blinded their eyes..." The Gospel reveals to us our need of the Saviour, Jesus Christ. The more we share His message, the more people will also see the Light that saved our sin sick souls.
The light of God's Word continues to reveal much to us today. It reveals sinful habits that we need to confess and forsake. It reveals how we are to live our lives as disciples. The revealing list of God's Word goes on and on. Turn on the light today and see what you will find!
