Our Scripture reading today is 2 Thessalonians 3:13, "But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing."
When I read this verse this morning, I was reminded of all the "well doing" that takes place at Anchor Baptist Church. THANK YOU! As we begin the week on the Lord's day and make our way through the week there is much labour being done for the glory of God. THANK YOU! There is even more "well doing" in the summer as we setup and pack up on the Lord's day for the outdoor service. THANK YOU! A portion of the "well doing" takes place behind the scenes where no one is watching. THANK YOU!
As we enter quite possibly the busiest ministry month of the year, I find it timely that God gives us this encouraging verse of Scripture. It spoke to my heart and I trust it did yours as well. It also reminded me of so many of you that are faithfully involved in so much "well doing." To God be ALL the glory!
