Our Scripture reading today is Job 13:15, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:
but I will maintain mine own ways before him."

As we consider this verse and the life of Job, we must be reminded to the fact
that Job did not have chapter 42 to read and see that God was going to bless
him abundantly. While he was going through the times of testing, all he could
do was trust God.  “I have no dependence but God; I trust him alone. Should he even destroy
my life by this affliction, yet will I hope that when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” (Clarke)

Do you trust God with your life? Have you surrendered to His will and plan? God will do a much
better job with your life than you will. The Word of God
proves that He is trustworthy. God loves you and desires to bless you. Let Him have His way.

His pow’r can make you what you ought to be.
His blood can cleanse your heart and make you free.
His love can fill your soul, and you will see
’twas best for Him to have His way with thee.
