Today’s Scripture reading is Matthew 6:25-27.
Verse 26, "...yet your heavenly father feedeth them."
This statement is made by Jesus in relation to even birds being provided for by God. Further in this passage we read a challenge to put God first in our lives. (verse 33) I often wonder why a child of God would not be willing to obey this command considering the promise that comes along with it. Do we really believe God will keep His Word? The showers of blessings come as we shower God with obedience.
