Our Scripture reading today is Romans 8:31-32.
Verse 31, "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"
The key to answering both of those questions is, "Is the Holy Spirit in you?" If the answer to this question is, YES, then you can properly answer the questions in our verse for today. If Christ's Spirit is in us; then God is for us! It matters not how many people are against us. God always tips the scale in our direction. We might fail Him...He is for us. We might not bring forth much fruit...He is for us. God is engaged with us in seeing His perfect will accomplished in and through us.
This is truly a humbling truth. Almighty God is always ready to give us the strength we need to be an overcomer. Daily victory is ours for the claiming. We can defy the powers of darkness through His name and Word. God does no intend for us to live defeated lives. We have every spiritual resource at our disposal!!
God IS for US!
