Our Scripture reading today is 1 Corinthians 15:55, "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"
Death has a brand new meaning to someone who has a relationship with God through
Jesus Christ. When a born again Christian enters eternity, their body dies but their
soul enters the presence of God. 2 Corinthians 5:8, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." Death has
no power over the believer. Physical death actually leads to life. No more physical or
spiritual sickness.
The Lord Jesus provided this promise through His sacrificial death on the cross. He
suffered that we might have victory over death. He arose from the dead that we might
have life and have it abundantly. Our responsibility is to tell this Bible message to as
many people as possible. God will save anyone who comes to Him through Christ.
