Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 40:28, "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding."
There is a great reminder and comfort in this verse of Scripture. We have direct
access to the Creator and He is never too busy or tired to listen and work on
the behalf of His children. “How easy it is to believe in the infinite power of God and at the
same time to feel that He is unable to meet our personal needs!” (Wolf) I am also meditating on
the truth that He is everlasting. There will never be a generation of Christians that does not have
God in their corner. He is the same in the past, today, and in the future.
We will know Him in a greater way the more time we spend in and around
His Word.
