Our Scripture reading today is 2 Timothy 4:6-8.

Verse 7, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:"

The Apostle Paul has covered a lot of territory in his life.  He has gone from persecuting Christians before his conversion to preaching the Gospel and establishing churches after the Damascus road conversion.  No doubt, there have been many challenging times and yet he is finishing faithful.

In the last period of his life, Paul writes to Timothy.  Paul has finished the course God had for him.  We could say he is finishing God's will for his life.  This is to be the daily goal as well as the goal for life of every born again disciple of Jesus Christ.  I cannot finish your course and you cannot finish mine.  While we all have a different course to finish, the objective is still the same.  Revelation 4:11, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

Keep the faith today and bring God the glory He deserves!
