Our Scripture reading today is Proverbs 22:24-25, "Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul."

The angry and furiuos man is not someone we should be spending alot of time with.  Solomon warns us that his ways will rub off on us and bring a trap to our soul.  “Being friends of a hot-tempered man is like living in a house that is on fire. How quickly does a young person, living with a proud man, become like him and turn into an overbearing person.” (Bridges)

We should ask God for wisdom when it comes to establishing our friendships.  Choosing the right friends goes along way to staying in the will of God.  In addition, we should strive to be the kind of friend that leads people to salavation and to a closer walk with the Lord.
