Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 37:23-25.
Verse 25, "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."
Over the last couple months, this passage has been the theme of talk 3 in the Friday night RU meeting. As we allow the Lord to direct our steps, we will find ourselves in a place of blessing each and every time. God is our faithful provider. David had seen this first hand and he wanted those coming after him to experience the same.
When we faithfully follow His will for our lives, we are preparing the way for the generations that will follow. They will be better prepared to allow the Lord to order their steps. We are not guaranteed an easy life, but we are guaranteed God's presence. He will always be near with a ready hand to help us in time of need. Take time today to praise for His faithfulness in your life and the life of your family.
