Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 89:48, "What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall
he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah."
Unless we are alive when the Lord Jesus returns in the clouds, we will all face physical
death. For the believer, death is entrance into the presence of the Lord. 2 Corinthians
5:8, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and tobe present with the Lord."
There should be no fear of death for those who are in
Christ. God provided deliverance from eternal death through Jesus Christ. 1 John 5:12,
"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."
Life eternal runs through the Son. Do you have the Son?
