Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 45:2, "I will go before thee, and make the crooked places
straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:"
The prophecy of this chapter is quite incredible. This is 200 years before it actually
takes place. Isaiah is writing about a man and naming him two centuries before he is
even born. God used a pagan king to fulfill His perfect will. He can do whatever He
pleases.
God can do in your life whatever He pleases. As Christians, we are His children. God
loves us and has a perfect plan for each one of us. As He was working the plan centuries
before the arrival of Cyrus, He has been working the path for your life. It is up to
us to be yielded to whatever He does for us.
