Our scripture reading today is Galatians 3:13, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,
being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:"
The salvation plan is so simple that a child can believe it and receive it. Acts 16:31,
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." It was also very costly.
Only through the sacrifice of God's Son and His shed blood could a sinner be redeemed.
Christ became sin that we might be set free. “Redemption points to the payment of a price that sets
sinners free.” (Morris)
We have been set free so that we might live according to His will. Grace was not
bestowed on us so we could live however we want. Grace enables us to live in freedom
to world, the flesh, and the devil. Rise up and start living in the power of the Holy
Spirit! Rise up and follow God's will for your life. He paid for your life.
