Our Scripture reading today is Romans 6:4, "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
 
We have a Saviour today because He is alive. Three days after He was buried, Jesus
Christ arose. He conquered all that His Father sent Him to conquer. The Lord Jesus
is seated at the right hand of God. "Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power 
of God." Luke 22:69
 
I serve a risen Saviour He’s in the world today.
I know that He is living, Whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy; I hear His voice of cheer;
And just the time I need Him He’s always near.  (Alfred Ackley)
 
Jesus Christ lives that we might live eternally and more abundantly now!
