Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 94:9-10, "He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that
formed the eye, shall he not see? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct?
he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?"
God is our creator. After salvation, God becomes our Father. This means that the
Creator God is our heavenly father. He sees and knows all. He corrects us when we
go astray. We are in great need of this correction. God created us with and on
purpose. There is a general purpose for us all, but He also gave each of us a specific
purpose for our existence. God has enabled His children with the fruit of the
Spirit as well as Spiritual gifts. The combination of the two equip us to live in such
a way that it pleases God and fulfills our purpose.
