Our Scripture reading today is Genesis 6:8-9.
Verse 9, "These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."
While we know that Noah was not perfect, it is very clear that he was determined to live a righteous life. It is evident in the fact that he walked with God. Noah grew in the grace of God as he walked with God. Noah matured in his spiritual life the more time he spent with God.
We have the same opportunities as Noah and the other Bible characters. We can walk with God as much as we want to. Our spiritual growth is dependent upon the time we invest in the Word of God, prayer, and church services. What does your walk with God look like? Could it be improved? Today is the day to restart it and or increase it.
