Our Scripture reading today is Philippians 1:19, "For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,"

This book of the Bible was written by the Apostle Paul from prison.  He was confident
that the Philippian believers were praying for him and his upcoming trial before Nero.
He was also convinced that prayer does makes a difference.  His situation was going to
change because people were praying for him.

God gave us a sweet time of prayer last night at church.  We prayed specifically for the
healing of numbers of people.  We prayed because God tells us to pray and prayer
changes things.  Who knows that you are praying for them?  Do you pray believing that
God is able to do anything but fail?  You might be praying for the next "Paul".
