Our Scripture reading today is Romans 10:14-15.
Verse 14, "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
Every child of God has been commissioned to be a preacher of the Gospel. We
all have the privilege and responsibility of telling others about Jesus Christ and
God's plan of salvation. Think of the people in your home, your neighbourhood,
your school, your workplace, and even strangers that you see on a weekly basis.
They all have an eternal soul that will either live or die for eternity. Doesn't that
truth stir you? Doesn't that truth convict you to be more mindful of getting the
Gospel to others?
If the Holy Spirit is in us, He will lead us to the lost. He will direct our path to
speak the truth of the Gospel to others. It is our choice whether we will be
obedient or not.
