Our Scripture reading today is Mark 10:6-9.
Verse 9, "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."
Since the beginning of it's creation, the home has been under attack. Anything that
God loves and initiates, the devil seeks to destroy. You can be sure that Satan is
attacking your marriage and home every day. It is his goal that your marriage be
stressful to the point of ending it. It is his goal that there would be turmoil at every
turn in the family. Marriage is not a contract between two people. Marriage is a
covenant with two people and God. God intends for your marriage to end at death
or the Rapture.
The best advice given for a home is that each member of the home be in prayer for
God's protection and strength. Our enemy is attacking, but we have the promise of
God's power behind us. 1 John 4:4, "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:
because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."
