Our Scripture reading today is Romans 5:8-9, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood,
we shall be saved from wrath through him."
God's love is more than just in writing. The love of God was proved and displayed at
Calvary. True love will always give and God gave his absolute best when Jesus Christ
became the sacrifice for our sins. Jesus' holy and precious blood was shed in order that
sinners like you and me could be justified. The fact that God allowed Jesus to die for
sinners is amazing. As sinners, we were undeserving. As sinners, we had nothing to offer.
Take time today to praise God for the unspeakable gift of salvation!
