Our Scripture reading today is 1 Corinthians 2:9-12.
Verse 9, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
While we are looking forward to the glories of Heaven, God has prepared much for us now. There is a liberty to live in this world that only God provides. We are free to walk in victory through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Word of God provides light to see where to walk in these dark days. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105
God's Spirit in us makes all the difference. He is continually revealling what our eyes have not seen and our ears have not heard. We continue to walk by faith and not by sight. Our faith is in the Holy Spirit to guide our daily journey. It is still impossible for us to know what a day holds, but God is already there preparing something for us. It may not be what we like or enjoy, but it will always be for our good and His glory.
