Our Scripture reading today is Exodus 12:13, "And the blood shall be to you for a token
upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt."
The blood of a lamb provided physical protection to the first born in every
home that applied the blood as per the instructions Moses had given. If no
blood was present, death was sure to take place. Believing what Moses said
was not enough. They had to, by faith, apply the blood to their door posts.
Today, we also need the blood of the Lamb. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God.
His precious blood is the only source of spiritual cleansing. It must be applied
to our sinful heart or we will face eternal death. God loves all people and He
made the way for us to have a relationship with Him. Share the good news
