Our Scripture reading today is Numbers 13:32-33.
Verse 33, "And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight."
Twelve men went to survey Canaan and see what was in it.  Two of the men cam back with a report that they could conquer the land because God has promised it to them.  The remaining men came back with a report of we cannot conquer the land.  Giants live there and we are nothing compared to them.  How can there be two so different reports from the same survey trip?
It comes down to what the men saw.  One group (two men) saw the land and all that it offered.  They remembered all along the promise of God to go with them to help them conquer the land.  The other group of men (the majority) saw the giants and forgot God was with them.  We must follow the example of Caleb and Joshua and keep our eyes on Almighty God.  As we dwell on Him, we will remember all that He has promised He will do.  He never fails!
