Our Scripture reading today is 1 Peter 2:12, "Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles:
that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation."

People are watching the way we live our lives.  While we are not saved by good works,
our salvation should be seen by our good works.  If we are born again of the Spirit of
God, we will live differently.  The old ways will quickly or slowly pass away.  Either
way, they will pass away.  These early Christians were accused of many false crimes.
The way they lived spoke against the accusations.

We never want to be a stumbling block to someone who is lost.  Far too many Christians
do not live like a Christian.  Their testimony does not speak the Gospel nor does it
glorify God.  May it not be said of us!
